Widely regarded as America’s favourite donut, Dunkin Donuts are famous across the globe.
Dunkin donuts were looking to bring their world famous products to Scotland. Having been in business since 1950, they now serve more than 5 million customers – every single day.
With CJ Lang & Son Ltd rolling out their new food to go offering – CJ’s quick and tasty food to go – to company owned stores, the opportunity to work in partnership with Dunkin Donuts was the obvious next step.
Owning 108 SPAR stores and supplying over 200 independent retailers on a daily basis, gives CJ Lang an enviable network of stores the length and breadth of Scotland. This network allows suppliers like Dunkin to take advantage of this geographic coverage to put their products in front of thousands of customers 7 days a week.
CJ Lang is currently the sole distributor for Dunkin Donuts in Scotland with 2 and 4 packs stocked widely in stores across Scotland.
Stephen Brown, Head of Food to Go at CJ Lang and Son Limited, said: “We are delighted to be working with another innovative international brand like Dunkin’, adding to the stable of existing brands we work with and the multitude of Scottish based suppliers.
“As sole distributer for Dunkin’ donuts in Scotland at this time, we’re really excited to be bringing this well-loved sweet treat to our customers.
“We have very ambitious plans to grow food-to-go within our SPAR estate in Scotland. It is one of the fastest growing sectors of the eating out market and as a forward thinking convenience retailer we are making a huge investment to ensure we are at the forefront of this sector.”
Canar Gursoy, Dunkin’ Brands’ Regional Vice President, Europe, Middle East and Africa, said:“As we continue Dunkin’s strategic expansion across Europe, we’re thrilled to offer our delicious donuts to consumers in Scotland."
“We’re excited to work with CJ Lang & Son Limited, one of the largest convenience retail groups in Scotland, to offer pre-packaged assortments of our premium donuts to their customers.”
