Dalrymple locals were invited to showcase their talents at Dalrymple’s very own version of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ at SPAR’s family fun day on Saturday, to celebrate the opening of its brand new community store.

Kids and adults alike enjoyed a bouncy castle, face painting, a balloon modeller and a huge climbing wall, whilst West Sound provided musical entertainment.

Customers took advantage of half price money off vouchers and the many giveaways on the day.

A newly completed new build site, the Dalrymple store is part of a national ‘segmentation’ project and includes many new innovative ideas and solutions for a local community store. One of the most immediately noticeable initiatives is the dedicated ‘Pollok Williamson’ bay within the butchery section of the store. The fully branded bay is managed completely by the local butcher and the wide range of butchery lines are delivered daily. Also noticeable are the wider range of fresh foods and a new pricing policy across the store.

Store Manager Angela Pattie said: “Local response to the store opening has been absolutely amazing and sales have far exceeded initial estimations. Customers are overwhelmed by the wide range we have here and the brilliant promotions.”
