FREUCHIE IN FLOWER DONATION FROM SPAR FREUCHIE

SPAR Freuchie owned and operated by CJ Lang and Son Limited has recently donated a generous £200 to their local organisation – Freuchie in Flower.

The money was raised through the sales of single use carrier bags, which is costing shoppers 5p per bag.

Freuchie in Flower is a local organisation of volunteers who spend their time making the village look nice. They use their own time to plant and maintain everything in the village and run fundraisers. Last year they won Gold in Beautiful Fife with all their hard work. This year they are looking to win again and also take on Britain.

Evelyn Jardine, chairperson for Freuchie in Flower said, “On behalf of Freuchie in Flower thank you very much for the wonderful donation you made recently. Our Autumn / Winter plants have now been ordered and your donation will help us with their payment”.

Shaun Muirhead, SPAR Freuchie store manager, said: “The staff at store were more than happy to give the money to Freuchie in Flower as they work really hard all year round to make the village look warm and welcoming for everyone that comes in”.
