SPAR BONNYRIGG STOPS FOR TEA

Date Published:

Staff at SPAR Bonnyrigg stayed in their pyjamas on Thursday 21st November to help raise funds for ChildLine’s School Service, a ground breaking service provided by NSPCC Scotland.

The store held a pyjama party in aid the “Stop for Tea” campaign, offering customers a cuppa whilst they browsed the aisles of the store, in return for a small donation towards the worthwhile cause.

The store raised over £280 by serving customers in their onesies, holding a “Guess the Baby” competition, and selling cakes and biscuits for donations. All the money raised from “Stop for Tea” will go towards the ChildLine School Service, which has been set up to give primary school children the awareness they need to recognise abuse and to seek help sooner.
