SPAR Freuchie owned and operated by CJ Lang and Son Limited has recently donated a generous £200 to Freuchie in Flower.

The money was raised through the sale of single use carrier bags, which cost customers 5p per bag.

The Freuchie in Flower volunteers look after more than 80 Floral displays around the village. The group have also expanded to support sustainable environmental projects with local groups and residents, including planting over 1,000 autumn bulbs, laying native hedging around a play-park and spring cleaning the villages’ large boat planter.

A representative from Freuchie in Flower said “thank you to CJ Lang and SPAR Freuchie for the donation which will help us to continue to work on the flower beds around the village and to keep it looking good.”

Malcolm McIntosh, Store Manager at SPAR Freuchie said “I am glad that we can help our local community with projects like this to keep the village looking good. Without their hard work it wouldn't be possible to keep up the high standards.”
