SPAR Scotland takes over Aviemore for a third year in 2024

SPAR Scotland will return to the MacDonald Hotel and Resort in the heart of Aviemore and the Cairngorms National Park in 2024 with its annual tradeshow and conference taking place on 26th September.

Scotland’s largest show in the convenience retail industry brings together Scotland’s leading symbol group SPAR, independent retailers and company owned store colleagues, CJ Lang & Son colleagues from support functions and suppliers to highlight and celebrate new products and identify future opportunities with SPAR in Scotland.

Showcasing SPAR within the exciting Scottish convenience sector the tradeshow, conference and celebratory programme will feature speakers from CJ Lang & Son Ltd, SPAR UK and SPAR International and over 200 FMCG exhibitors, with over 850 delegates in total all in one venue.

Colin McLean, CEO, SPAR Scotland said: “We had a brilliant event this year and we were blown away by the success of it all. Our 2024 event will take place on Thursday 26th September when all roads will lead to Aviemore as we return to the MacDonald Hotel and Resort for a third year running.

“The theme for 2024 is ‘Raising the Bar’ and once again we will have a few surprises in store for those attending. Our tradeshow will be supported by business presentations where we will share future plans for our continued growth. The SPAR Scotland Awards will return for a third year, and we will host a gala dinner. The evening festivities will be rounded off with a live band, entertainment, and plenty of dancing.

“With over two hundred suppliers exhibiting this year, this event is hotly anticipated, and we expect demand to be high, so we are urging everyone to register as soon as possible – it will be on a first come, first served basis! This event promises hands-on networking opportunities like no other in the Scottish convenience retail market.”

Headline sponsors for the annual event have once again been confirmed as Pepsico.
