SAFETY FIRST FOR DUNDEE’S SCHOOL CHILDREN

Youngsters throughout Tayside are attending the Safe Taysiders event at Baluniefield Police Training Centre, Balunie Drive Dundee from 23rd August to 3rd September to learn about safety. CJ Lang and Son Limited were on hand on Wednesday 25th August to support the event by supplying children with refreshments and listen to speakers from all Tayside Emergency Services. The company have supported the event for the second year. Tayside Police organise the event which sees 1150 primary seven pupils from schools across Dundee learn about safety. Children are given talks on subjects such as safety at the home and fire safety. Children are also provided with information booklets which give advice on subjects such as first aid and making drug awareness. Sharon Methven, CJ Lang and Son Limited, Marketing Executive said of the event: “We are delighted to support an event which can educate children to ensure they are aware of the correct safety procedures.
