MINISTER LAUNCHES HEALTHY LIVING 2011 AT SPAR GLAMIS ROAD

Stores across the country are gearing up for the first ever nationwide ‘Healthy Living’ promotion, linking healthier promotions with government backed communication materials. Over 250 convenience stores across the country, including all CJ Lang & Son company managed stores are participating in the scheme. The initiative is designed to promote local convenience stores as a destination for fresh healthy produce. Shona Robison MSP, Minister for Public Health and Sport, launched the event on 07 January at SPAR Glamis Road, Dundee. SPAR Scotland have been involved in the Healthy Living initiative since its inception 6 years ago, initially looking at store equipment but more recently focussing on the product offering.
