DAVID MCCORQUODALE JOINS CJ LANG & SON LTD AS NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

CJ Lang & Son Ltd has today announced that David McCorquodale, formerly UK Head of Retail at KPMG, has been appointed a Non Executive Director with effect from 1st August 2020.

Chairman Jim Hepburn of CJ Lang and Son Limited commented; “It is great news that David has agreed to join our board at this key point in our journey. David’s vast experience and wide connections in retail, will add significant additional skills to our company as we continue to grow and strengthen our position in the Scottish convenience market. We are delighted to welcome him to the company.”

McCorquodale’s appointment follows a significant number of new additions in the last 2 years to the company’s Executive team.

CJ Lang & Son Ltd is the largest independent distributor to convenience retailing in Scotland and is also the Scottish wholesaler for SPAR. C J Lang operates 108 of its own branded SPAR stores and supplies a further 230 branded independent SPAR stores.
